This triptych is a series of watercolour tulips viewed from above. They portray the hidden geometries in nature and the tulip's array of colours and patterns.
Monika’s art concept is 'Geodesia': exploring the geometries in nature and expressing them in an aesthetic language. The artworks portray mathematical patterns and geometric forms observed and explored in plants and the human anatomy.
Monika’s main art practice is working in drawing and oil paintings. She also enjoys life drawing, watercolour and basket weaving.
