Kookaburras are often heard throughout the Yarra Valley and this inspired me to make a sculpture of one. The beak is a pair of hedge clippers, the body and feathers are a combination of flat steel plate cut into shapes and round bar. I told a Kookaburra a joke and he thought it was funny.
