This lovingly crafted handbuilt piece is an inspiration from traveling around Asia for 9 months in 2018-2019. I visited many galleries, exhibitions, retail spaces and private potteries. I have always been influenced by this style of work since I started working with clay in the mid 80’s. This piece has a sense of peace and harmony that is resonate of Asian culture. It flows freely and captures light and texture.
