Paths Cut by Time explores the quiet beauty of landscape shaped by time, movement and connection. Inspired by aerial views of the Australian landscape, the work reflects the winding paths of rivers, roads and waterways as they intersect and carve their way through the earth. I use layered acrylic washes, textured brushwork, fine linework and delicate gestural marks to build depth and movement across the surface. Earthy ochres, soft blush, sandstone, cream and muted greens create a warm, weathered palette, while dark pathways provide contrast and structure. The subtle raised and dotted details add rhythm and a sense of life moving through the landscape.
