Based in Australia, Sharon studied fine arts in Canada and Australia and has built a career through deep immersion in the creative industries. Her journey began as a painter, arriving in Australia with big dreams and a suitcase full of paint tubes. Time spent in an artists’ commune in Redfern, Sydney, in the late 1980s and early 1990s, laid the foundation for her evolving practice.
Over the years, Sharon has developed a professional career supporting the arts and facilitating cultural exchange between Canada and Australia. In recent years, she has expanded her creative expression to multidisciplinary genres, including digital designs, quirky textiles, and sculptural work, reflecting her curiosity, playfulness, and innovation.
