ABOUT SERAFINA:
Sculptor | Mixed Media Artist | Story Weaver
Born into a creative family and representing the third generation of artists, Serafina has always been immersed in making. “I have always been an artist, always been creative—although not all that I create is art. I am also a craftsman.”
Working across sculpture, drawing, painting, and printmaking, Serafina’s practice often blurs the boundaries between disciplines. Her work explores the use of natural and found materials, weaving, fibre, and basketry techniques to create expressive and tactile reflections of emotion and experience.
With a Visual Arts degree in Sculpture and a history of exhibiting in group shows, Serafina has recently reignited her creative practice, embracing a renewed passion for intuitive, emotional, and often deeply personal work. She loves to use materials in unexpected ways—to tell stories with a twist, evoke feeling, or spark reflection.
Her art can be both tender and confronting, offering honest, sensory encounters that invite connection and contemplation.
