ABOUT MINELA:
Painter | Sculptor | Landscape Artist
Based in Mt Evelyn in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, Minela Krupic is a visual artist whose career spans two decades, dozens of exhibitions, and a number of grants and awards along the way. She studied printmaking at the Victorian College of Art at Melbourne University, and has continued to expand her practice across a range of mediums ever since.
Minela works across clay sculpture, watercolour and oil painting, as well as collaborative mural work, drawing inspiration from the lush landscape surrounding her home.
Rather than working from a single studio, Minela prefers to make her art out in the world, taking her practice wherever it leads and letting each place shape what she creates.
Her work reflects a deep, ongoing connection to the landscapes around her, and continues to grow and evolve with every new place she works from..
