ABOUT CATHIE:
Realist Storyteller | Explorer of Light, Colour, and Line | Painter of History and Place
Cathie Berry is an established realist artist with over thirty-five years of experience, having earned 70 awards and 80 commendations throughout her career.
Primarily working in her studio today, Cathie also loves painting on location and has created works across Australia, the USA, Europe, and the UK. A lifelong learner, she has studied life drawing, portraiture, and landscape painting using a variety of mediums. Cathie is passionate about how light, colour, and simple lines convey the story behind each artwork.
With a keen interest in local history, Cathie has painted many historical properties and gardens, alongside commissions for portraits, animals, gardens, and properties. Embracing her creativity has made for a challenging and rewarding career.
