ABOUT BETH:
Voice of Landscape Emotion | Explorer of Texture and Form | Painter Immersed in Place
When Beth Williams paints, she seeks to become one with the earth — the dirt, the scorch of the sun, dry golden grass, barbed wire, blackening clouds, and the force of the wind. With her canvas wired to a fence, she scratches and dances with her brush, breathing life into the colours and forms of the landscape. Immersed in this process, Beth escapes the complications of the world, allowing herself to disappear into the raw experience of place.
An opera singer, music therapist, and emerging artist, Beth works primarily in acrylic and mixed media. Her current practice explores feeling and form, using texture and flowing brushwork to capture the energy and emotion of landscapes.
