As I wander through the wildness,
the clouds moving overhead,
I feel I am inturrupting a conversation….

ABOUT ANTONIA:
Painter of Surreal Landscapes | Observer of Wilderness and Light | Storyteller of Environment and Imagination
Antonia Green’s work is focused on exploring the intersections of environment, cultural history, and collective imagination. Through painting, printmaking, drawing, and collage, she seeks to capture the surreal qualities of isolated wilderness landscapes, weaving stories in light and shadow that invite reflection and connection.
She studied a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking at The Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne (2001–2004), returning for further study in 2007. In 2005, Antonia was awarded a solo scholarship exhibition at the Fire Station Print Studio and worked as an edition printer at Port Jackson Press from 2005 to 2007.
With experience in numerous solo and group exhibitions, Antonia currently works from her studio surrounded by untouched bushland in the Yarra Valley. She participated in Yarra Valley Open Studios in 2022 and 2023.
