Although, interested in many facets of ceramics I am particularly drawn to special firing techniques such as wood firing, pit and teepee firing, raku and crystalline. I enjoy the process as much as the results achieved. I originally trained as a functional potter, but have moved towards non-functional work, this suits my interest in special effects firing techniques. The style of my work is very much influenced by the landscape of the Central Australian outback. The special firing technique I use has allowed me to capture the amazing colours of this region.

My ceramic journey seems to be on an endless path, continually changing and moving along many sidetracks.
