David Miller
Oil paints, paper sculpture
5964 9327
For twenty years David has been writing and illustrating with paper sculpture, picture books for children. Books like Mem Fox’s BOO TO A GOOSE, Tania Cox’s SNAP WENT CHESTER and his REFUGEES.
Now I am concentrating on painting in oil.
Paintings that contemplate the beauty of light shimmering over wet sand or sparkling in the foam of a breaking wave, mist embracing the folds of moist mountains or wafting across billabongs in the early morning, sand, red in the outback, sprinkled with countless flowers or golden with light dancing through rippling water.
